Refund & Withdrawal Policy

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer and are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law, that right remains fully unaffected by this policy.

For consumers to whom the statutory German right of withdrawal applies, the withdrawal period is generally 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement before the applicable withdrawal period has expired.

You do not have to give a reason for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

2. Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

Our personalized songs are provided as digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium.

Where applicable law provides for a statutory right of withdrawal, that right may expire before the end of the withdrawal period once performance of the contract has begun, provided that all applicable statutory requirements have been fulfilled.

In particular, where German law applies, this requires that:

you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period;
you have expressly acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins; and
we have provided you with the legally required confirmation of the contract and your consent.

Once the statutory right of withdrawal has validly expired, the contract can no longer be withdrawn on the basis of that right.

3. Consequences of a Valid Withdrawal

If you validly exercise an applicable statutory right of withdrawal before that right has expired, we will reimburse the payments that must be refunded under applicable law without undue delay and, where German withdrawal law applies, no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

4. Refunds After the Right of Withdrawal Has Expired

Once an applicable statutory right of withdrawal has validly expired, we do not provide refunds solely because you have changed your mind or because the finished song does not meet subjective preferences that were not part of the specifications agreed when the order was placed.

This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have if the delivered song is defective or does not conform to the contract.

5. Your Order Specifications

Each personalized song is created on the basis of the information, preferences and specifications submitted with your order.

Please carefully review all information before completing your purchase, including, where applicable:

names and personal details;
the occasion and intended purpose of the song;
musical genre, style, mood and voice preferences;
stories, memories, messages and other information to be included;
lyrics, phrases or other content provided by you;
song length; and
any additional instructions or requests.

If information supplied by you is incorrect or incomplete, or if you request changes to the original specifications after production has begun or after the song has been completed, this does not by itself create a right to a refund.

Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Digital Content

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

If your delivered song does not conform to the specifications agreed as part of your order, please contact us at contact@julsong.com.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, statutory remedies may include bringing the digital content into conformity, a price reduction, termination of the contract or other remedies provided by law.

7. Additionally: Our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is important to us.

In addition to any statutory rights you may have, JulSong voluntarily offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for personalized songs.

If you are dissatisfied with your song, please contact us at contact@julsong.com within 30 days of delivery and explain what you would like us to review.

We will review your request and, where the issue can reasonably be addressed within the scope of the specifications originally submitted with your order, work with you on appropriate revisions or adjustments.

The satisfaction guarantee is not a 30-day money-back guarantee and does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund.

Requests that substantially change the original order, such as a different musical concept, different specifications or new content that was not included in the original order, may be treated as a new or additional request.

This voluntary satisfaction guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not restrict or replace them.
